She’s Tempted
She puts her pills in an oblong box
She sets it high so she says she won’t be tempted, but she’s tempted
She’s only scared at certain times
At certain times that lid and her get lifted, cause she’s tempted
She knows, that without a breathing conscience
I’m scared, as the clouds turn dark and near us
i’m scared, as her skin turns pale and blue
She’s not there, and still i wish for you
To be there in the end
Her darkened eyes run down her cheeks
Though she says she’s not been cryin’, it seems that way to me
She breaks down with a broken smile
She’s taking lessons from a world she can’t defy, cause she’s tempted
She knows, that without a breathing conscience
I’m scared, as the clouds turn dark and near us
yea i’m scared, as her skin turns pale and blue
She’s not there, and still i wait for you
To be there in the end
